Curriculum or Course Outline Delivery Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with the PSIS Curriculum and course outline standard. Ensure curriculum, course outline and expectation standards, learning objectives, and differentiation strategies are met. 2. Assessment and Reporting Conduct regular formative and summative assessments. Monitor student progress and prepare timely, accurate academic reports. 3. Classroom Climate and Inclusion Create a respectful, safe, and inclusive classroom. Promote active participation and positive student behaviour. 4. Professional Collaboration and Development Collaborate with peers in curriculum and course outline planning and school events. Participate actively in mentoring programs, professional development, and monthly technical education meetings. 5. Reflective Practice and Teacher Awards Self-evaluate teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes. Maintain a professional portfolio for teacher awards and recognition. 6. Parent and Caregiver Engagement Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and behaviour. Actively prepare, support and participate in parent-teacher conferences and learning partnerships, 2 times per year. 7. Child Protection and School Culture Uphold and model child protection policies and code of conduct. Contribute to a positive school culture through events and student support. 8. Marketing Participation Support the school’s promotional activities, such as open days and student showcases. 9. Academic Coordination ● Implement national and international curricula under the guidance of the Principal. ● Coordinate academic calendars, teaching schedules, and subject coverage. ● Supervise lesson planning and ensure alignment with learning outcomes. ● Conduct classroom observations and follow up with coaching or support. ● Oversee assessment practices and maintain academic record accuracy. 2. Operational Oversight ● Manage daily school operations including logistics, timetables, substitute teaching, and facility coordination. ● Ensure all departments operate efficiently and according to SOPs. ● Support in executing school development and operational plans. 3. Teacher Development & Monitoring ● Organize mentoring sessions, performance reviews, and professional development. ● Coordinate teacher award nominations with proper documentation and criteria. ● Monitor teacher attendance, punctuality, and workload balance. 4. Student Support ● Monitor student progress and support interventions for underperforming students. ● Support implementation of extra classes, remediation, and academic enrichment. ● Coordinate with discipline and student services for behavior management. 5. Parent and Stakeholder Communication ● Support school-parent communication regarding academic and operational matters. ● Participate in organizing parent meetings and feedback sessions. ● Assist with reports, presentations, and issue resolution. 6. Emergency and Risk Preparedness ● Assist in planning and conducting emergency drills. ● Support compliance with school safety procedures and emergency response plans. 7. Inventory Management Receive and inspect goods for quantity and quality. Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or electronic system). Organize and label items properly in the stockroom or warehouse. Issue supplies and materials according to approved requests. Record all incoming and outgoing stock transactions. Stock Monitoring and Replenishment Monitor stock levels and ensure minimum stock thresholds are maintained. Notify the procurement or admin team when stock replenishment is required. Track and manage expiry dates, damaged goods, and returns. Physical Stock Checks Conduct regular physical stock counts (daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly). Reconcile physical counts with system records and report discrepancies. Assist in internal and external inventory audits. Coordination and Reporting Gathering all request and making order then purchasing. Coordinate with purchasing and finance teams for stock procurement and budget tracking. Prepare stock reports as required by management (usage reports, shortages, aging stock). Ensure that health, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained in the storage area. 5. School Participation Attending staff meetings, training workshops, and parent conferences is required. Participation in school activities, including field trips, events, and assemblies, is required. 6. Vendor & Relationship Management Set up and maintain accurate vendor master files, including contact details, payment terms, and tax information (e.g., W-9 forms).
Lesson Planning & Delivery Design and deliver lessons that align with the school’s English curriculum. Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ diverse learning needs. Prepare weekly and term lesson plans and submit them for review as required. Classroom Management Maintain a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment. Apply appropriate disciplinary strategies to support student growth. Promote active participation, collaboration, and academic integrity. Student Assessment Create, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams. Track and report student progress on a regular basis. Provide feedback to students and communicate results to parents/guardians. School Engagement Participate in school events, parent meetings, and academic workshops. Support extracurricular activities related to English (e.g., spelling bee, reading clubs, debates). Cooperate with other teachers and staff to ensure student success. Professional Development Teachers are required to attend at least one (1) training session or workshop per term as part of their compulsory professional development. Actively participate in internal training sessions, workshops, meetings, and professional learning activities organized by the institution. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, teaching strategies, and classroom management techniques. Stay updated on current trends, methodologies, and developments in English language education. Reflect on personal teaching practices and seek feedback from supervisors or academic leaders to improve instructional effectiveness. Apply new teaching strategies and knowledge gained from professional development activities to classroom instruction. Contribute ideas, materials, and resources that support the improvement of teaching and learning within the program. Engage in self-directed professional learning, such as reading professional literature, attending relevant webinars, or taking online courses.
