• Lead and manage the Company's tax function, ensuring full compliance with Cambodian tax laws and regulations. • Oversee the accurate and timely preparation and filing of all tax declarations, including VAT, Prepayment of Tax on Income (PTOI), Tax on Income (TOI), Withholding Tax (WHT), Salary Tax (ToS), Patent Tax, Property Tax, and other applicable taxes. • Liaise with the General Department of Taxation (GDT) on tax audits, assessments, refunds, and other tax-related matters. • Provide tax advice and support to management and business units on transactions, contracts, investments, and new business initiatives. • Monitor changes in Cambodian tax legislation and assess their impact, ensuring timely implementation of new tax requirements. • Identify, assess, and manage tax risks while strengthening tax governance, internal controls, and compliance processes. • Review tax reconciliations, tax provisions, and tax-related disclosures to support accurate financial reporting and statutory audits. • Lead, mentor, and develop the tax team, driving continuous improvement in tax processes and operational efficiency. • Collaborate with finance, legal, external auditors, and tax advisors to optimize tax planning while maintaining compliance with Cambodian tax regulations.
• Develop and oversee financial models and structures for construction projects, including financial forecasting and budgeting. • Oversee the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. • Prepare consolidated financial statements for the company and individual projects. • Prepare monthly financial reports, including cash flow projections, income statements, and balance sheets. • Prepare and monitor project Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure effective cost control. • Identify variances between actual and budgeted project costs, recommend corrective actions, and update Bill of Materials (BOM) costing. • Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for project financing and operational needs. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards (e.g., CIFRS), local real estate laws, and ACAR requirements. • Work closely with project accountants, project managers, architects, quantity surveyors (QS), quality assurance (QA) teams, and subcontractors to align financial objectives with operational plans. • Implement and maintain financial systems, including ERP solutions, tailored to construction and real estate operations.
