Key Responsibilities

Tour Costing and Operations Finance

• Input supplier information (hotels, localized transport, tour packages, guides) and active contracts into the internal travel management system.
• Maintain up-to-date CMS database records to facilitate smooth communication between international agents and local suppliers.
• Verify specific booking details, promotions, and client itineraries against pricing structures with high accuracy.
• Verify supplier invoices against tour booking vouchers.
• Process payments to hotels, transport guides, and airlines.
• Reconcile deposits with domestic and international agents.

Daily Financial Operations

• Manage multi-transactions in USD and KHR.
• Record all daily cash inflows and outflows.
• Maintain petty cash for tour guide expenses.
• Issue official invoices and receipts to clients.
• Help prepare the company's monthly financial statements, summary cash collection files, and bank reconciliations.

Tax Compliance (Cambodia)

• Assist in organizing proper supporting documentation for Cambodian monthly tax declarations (VAT, WHT, Salary Tax) in compliance with General Department of Taxation (GDT) regulations.
• File monthly returns through the GDT e-Filing system.
• Maintain proper documentation for annual tax audits.
• Monitor specific tourism industry tax incentives or regulations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (or currently pursuing/freshly graduated) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in Khmer and English (written and verbal) is required to coordinate with local suppliers and international partners
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience working inside a travel agency, tour operator, or hospitality setting is highly valued
• Knowledge of Cambodia Tax Law is mandatory.
• Passion for travel: A fundamental appreciation of local Cambodian culture, destinations, and activities to naturally understand the company's services
