+Financial Accounting Reporting & Internal Control Process Improvement: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure that all accounting transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Prepare financial reports and management reports for decision-making. Monitor inventory costing using FIFO or Weighted Average Cost methods. Analyze import costs including freight, customs duty, VAT, and logistics expenses. Prepare cost analysis reports for imported premium wood products. Support vendor selection through financial and cost analysis. + Accounts Payable Management: Process supplier invoices accurately and on schedule. Prepare payment vouchers and supplier payment schedules. Reconcile supplier statements monthly. The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing construction project costs and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle. This role prepares cost estimates and budgets, performs quantity surveying, monitors and controls project costs, reviews and administers contracts, and supports drawing preparation and measurement activities. The Senior Quantity Surveyor ensures projects are delivered within budget while maximizing value for the company and clients without compromising quality or project requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES: Cost Estimation & Planning: Analyze architectural/engineering drawings and conduct quantity take-offs to calculate material, labor, and plant costs Tendering & Procurement: Prepare tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and secure competitive bids from suppliers and subcontractors. Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor project finances, track variations, and prepare regular Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports to prevent overspending. Contract Administration: Negotiate contracts, draft agreements, certify subcontractor valuations, and approve progress payments. Risk Management: Perform value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and assist with contractual disputes or claims.
