Job Summary
Bumblebee Montessori House is seeking a caring Assistant – Care & Environment to support children’s daily routines in a warm Montessori setting in Phnom Penh. This role helps maintain hygiene, mealtime, and rest time while working closely with teachers to ensure a calm, safe, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
● Support nappy changing and personal hygiene with dignity, care, and respect for each child.
● Assist with meal service, helping children eat independently and supporting clean-up afterward.
● Encourage healthy routines and independence during mealtimes in line with Montessori practice.
● Help children settle calmly for naps and rest periods in a peaceful, reassuring manner.
● Work closely with teachers to maintain smooth daily rhythms and a well-organized classroom.
● Keep the care and environment areas clean, safe, and ready for children throughout the day.

● Previous experience working with young children in a school, daycare, or care setting.
● Patient, gentle, and attentive approach with strong respect for children’s needs and dignity.
● Ability to support hygiene, feeding, and rest routines in a calm and professional manner.
● Good teamwork skills and willingness to follow teacher guidance and classroom routines.
● Reliable, responsible, and able to maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in the environment.
● Positive attitude, good communication skills, and commitment to child wellbeing.
● Experience in a Montessori or early childhood environment is an advantage.
