 Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.

 Track orders and ensure timely delivery with the right quality of purchased products.

 Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.

 Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.

 Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.

 Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed, and coordinate with staff to ensure proper storage.

 Coordinate stock control operations with warehouse staff, as well as the sales and finance departments.

 Analyze supply chain data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock.

 Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).

 Oversee stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing, and labeling.

 Maintain a steady flow of stock from storage to where it is needed.

 Control accounts payable balances and ensure they are settled according to credit terms.

 Perform regular inventory audits and keep stock purchasing within budget.

 Maintain and update daily shipment records, as well as purchase and pricing reports.

 Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role.

 Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors).

 Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g., Procurify or SpendMap).

 Understanding of supply chain procedures.

 Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.

 Strong negotiation skills.
