The Business Development Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s POS and management systems for F&B and retail businesses, as well as related businesses. This role manages the full customer lifecycle—from lead generation to deal closure, installation, and ongoing client relationship management—ensuring strong customer experience and long-term cooperation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities by sourcing, qualifying, and managing leads within the F&B and retail sectors.

  2. Conduct client meetings and on-site visits to present the company’s hardware and software solutions.

  3. Deliver product demonstrations, explain system features, and provide tailored solutions based on customer needs.

  4. Prepare quotations, negotiate, and close sales to meet assigned targets.

  5. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth installation, onboarding, and activation of systems for new clients.

  6. Maintain regular client follow-ups to address issues, collect feedback, and drive retention, upsells, or referrals.

  7. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including customer segmentation and lifecycle management.

  8. Develop a deep understanding of client needs and pain points, and report insights to product or development teams to support system improvement.

  9. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide actionable insights into sales strategies and product development.

  10. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, visit logs, and sales data; submit timely daily and weekly reports.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Sales, Business Administration, IT, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in B2C/B2B sales or channel development; F&B industry experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build trust and close deals.
  • Result-driven, responsible, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment with frequent travel.
  • Proficient in office software and CRM tools, with good documentation and client follow-up skills.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware/software products; quick learner with the ability to present product value clearly.
  • Proactive, positive, and execution-focused, with strong teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Chinese or English is a plus.
  • Experience in the POS industry is highly preferred.
