Job Purpose
The Senior Accounting Staff will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both Cambodian accounting standards (CAS) and IFRS, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and regulatory reporting, and internal/external audits. This role requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise junior accountants.
Key Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balances.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with CIFRS and NBC regulations.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting, most importantly, the NBC’s report.
• Prepares and recommends adjustments if necessary.
• Ensure timely closing of accounts and submission of reports.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, review their work for accuracy.
• Other Accounting internal routine tasks and as assigned by management.

 Compliance

• Ensure compliance with NBC and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and tax authorities as needed.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CAT) is a strong advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the accounting role in banking, financial institutions, or audit firms.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Accounting Standards such as: Cambodia International Financial Reporting Standard (CIFRS), Cambodian Accounting Standards (CAS).
• Knowledge of Tax Regulation is a plus.
• Strong Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Words, Excel, Outlook, Power Points.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize

• High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication in English.
• Moderate fluency for communication in Chinese is a plus
