JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supply Chain & Inventory Management

* Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient stock availability to support business operations.
* Review stock movements, consumption, and replenishment requirements.
* Identify slow-moving, excess, damaged, or expired inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
* Coordinate regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.

2. Purchasing & Supplier Coordination

* Coordinate with the Purchasing team to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of products and materials.
* Monitor purchase orders and supplier deliveries to ensure orders are received according to agreed quantities, quality, prices, and timelines.
* Communicate with suppliers regarding shortages, delays, quality issues, and discrepancies.
* Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and escalate recurring supplier issues to management.
* Support supplier performance monitoring and evaluation.

3. Distribution & Delivery Coordination

* Coordinate with relevant departments and delivery teams to ensure timely distribution of products and materials.
* Monitor delivery schedules and resolve operational issues that may affect delivery timelines.
* Ensure delivery documents and supporting records are properly completed and maintained.
* Follow up on delivery discrepancies, shortages, damages, or returns.

4. Team Supervision

* Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
* Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members.
* Promote teamwork, accountability, discipline, and adherence to company procedures.
* Report attendance, performance, and disciplinary concerns to management when necessary.

5. Reporting & Documentation

* Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, purchasing status, deliveries, and supply chain issues.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date supply chain documentation.
* Analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement.
* Provide recommendations to management to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

6. Cost Control & Process Improvement

* Monitor supply chain costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
* Minimize stock losses, wastage, damages, and unnecessary inventory holding.
* Review existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
* Ensure company policies, procedures, and internal controls are properly followed.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience

* Minimum 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, purchasing, inventory, or related operations.
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
* Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, hospitality, retail, or distribution is an advantage.
