Identify and/or assess potential customers through collecting, analyzing, and developing appropriate information necessary for loan assessment. Recommend and provide a report of the loan request and loan status. Promotes bank products and services to existing and new customers. Prepares loan report as required by supervisor and/or manager. Warmly welcome customers with a smile when they arrive at the bank's counter and provide excellent service and consistent advice to customers as per our GSTP guidelines, either face-to-face or by phone. Operate banking operations both cash and non-cash transactions in terms of system and documents. Ensure transactional processing is efficiently and accurately executed. Proactively determines customers' needs to actively cross-sell the bank's products and services. Be the consultant of digital products and digital solutions for any concern from customers. Proactively identifies and addresses areas of customer dissatisfaction, following up and resolving any customer's complaints. Consistently deliver quality service to customers to achieve total customer satisfaction and/or excellent customer experiences. Work as a team with other staff to provide excellent customer service to customers. Ensure strictly adhere to the bank's rules, regulations, policies, procedures, manual working guidelines, and instructions. Onboarding of new potential customers and the expansion of existing customers, both individual and corporate customers. Identify potential customers and understand their businesses to recommend appropriate products and services to customers. May perform duty as assigned by manager. Enthusiastically participates in and supports all bank sales and marketing programs intended to build customer base and enhance customers' retention. Seeks referrals from existing customers and other referrals from the network. Contribute directly to the sales, profitability, and business growth of the branch. Ensures that the branch's expenses are within the approved budget. Maintains and regularly checks the branch's security camera. Responsible for preparing a schedule of activities in the branch and assigning the tasks to different individuals depending on their designation in the branch or a particular department. Assists the branch manager in looking after the day-to-day operations of the branch and resolves any problems or conflicts faced by the staff in discharging their duties. Work closely with the branch manager to devise strategies for improving the overall performance of the branch. Implements these strategies and briefs the staff on new policies and practices that need to be adopted. Assist the branch manager in preparing budget planning, especially with regard to the operations area. Achieve individual and branch budgets through new customers, referrals, and retention of accounts. Assist the branch manager in attaining the established branch's goals and annual business plan and proactively developing marketing strategies to improve branch performance as well as to gain more market share. Determines and develops the budget for the daily expenses of the branch. Participates in community affairs to increase the bank's visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities, branding, and a good reputation with the public. Assist the branch manager in evaluating the abilities, capabilities, and knowledge of each staff member to ensure that staff are placed in the right job. Must effectively coach and train colleagues to develop their skills and capabilities. Provides a superior level of customer relations and promotes the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation. Encourages staff to upgrade their foreign language skills, especially English and Chinese. Keep a close eye on the local competitors. Identify new market needs and profitable products and service opportunities, keeping Canadia Bank in the lead of the competition. Responsible for all duties and functions in the absence of the branch manager. May have other duties as assigned by the branch manager or senior management of the bank. Supervise Relationship Officers at the branch. Monitor and review credit assessment, evaluation, disbursement, and repayment to ensure compliance with the bank’s policies, procedures, and guidelines. Responsible for credit quality at the branch. Responsible for promoting and advertising the bank’s products and services to all customers. Conduct daily monitoring of loan disbursement and collection. Review the regular credit report and analyze and evaluate the balance of PAR and credit quality. Coordinate with the Head Office Recovery and Legal teams to recover the defaulted loan, if any. Responsible for on-the-job coaching and/or training to improve staff competency. Prepare weekly and monthly loan reports. Cover duty of other staff in related units or positions as assigned when necessary.
