Job Summary Modern Gas Co Ltd is hiring a detail-oriented Purchase Officer (Oversea) to support sourcing, supplier coordination, and import purchasing operations in Phnom Penh. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to grow in procurement and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities ● Assist with overseas purchasing, supplier communication, and order follow-up. ● Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and support cost-effective buying decisions. ● Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams on shipment status. ● Track delivery schedules, import documents, and purchase records accurately. ● Monitor stock needs and help ensure timely replenishment of materials and goods. ● Support issue resolution for shortages, delays, damaged items, or invoice discrepancies. ● Maintain organized procurement files and assist with reporting and administrative tasks.

Documentation Responsible to ensure all Private and Confidential, Controlled Documents are properly indicated and managed. Responsible in company activities concerning the protection of the environment. 4. Corporate Social Responsibility Participates in company activities concerning the protection of the environment. Supports the environmental management system of the company. Promotes upholds and applies environmentally friendly practices such as reducing, reusing, and recycling. 5. Financial and Administration Complies with the company’s purchasing and store requisitioning procedures, in respect of internal and external supplies. Ensure energy and cost-saving measures are implemented and evaluated continuously. Ensures that rosters & overtime are managed appropriately according to operational needs. 6. Human Capital Development Participates in training related to the job. Assists with company orientation, training, and other special courses when required. Leads by example, inspires and motivates those around your department through enthusiasm, and inspires and guides others to make their decisions based on the organization’s values and overall direction, keeping the company’s goals in mind. 7. Policies and Procedures Maintains a high standard of appearance and grooming. Apply and adhere to rules and regulations as per the employee handbook, departmental and company policies and procedures, including those for emergencies. Develop and maintain an understanding of the overall organization’s mission, vision, and values. Handles any employee complaint professionally per company’s policy & procedures. Practices proper telephone etiquette with colleagues and company guests. Ensures all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of Cambodian Law. 8. Health and Safety Always maintains the highest levels of personal hygiene. To ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all work areas. To be fully aware of all health and safety, fire, and emergency procedures. Responsible to report any potentially hazardous situations within the workplace.
