 Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.  Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, particularly in the IT sector, to ensure they meet the company’s quality and cost standards.  Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.  Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.  Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to ensure continuous improvement in quality and service.  Lead negotiations for contracts, including pricing, terms, and conditions, to achieve the best value for the company.  Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met.  Oversee the purchasing of IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.  Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring all purchases are documented and recorded accurately.  Work closely with the IT department to understand their needs and ensure that procurement activities support the company’s technology goals.  Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and adherence to financial plans.  Analyze and report on spending trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings.  Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies.  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.  Lead cross-functional teams in procurement projects, ensuring collaboration and successful outcomes.
