I. POSITION SUMMARY The ideal candidate is a design-forward thinker with a strong understanding of consumer trends, aesthetics, and lifestyle branding, capable of transforming ideas into compelling, high-quality retail products that enhance the Starbucks experience. II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Support the end-to-end development of merchandise collections, including drinkware, serveware, lifestyle goods, and retail accessories • Translate seasonal campaigns and brand storytelling into cohesive product assortments • Collaborate with designers, agencies, and global teams to refine concepts and visual direction • Contribute to balancing trend-forward design with commercial viability and customer appeal • Manage development timelines from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and schedule targets • Partner with Marketing, Retail, Supply Chain, and Global Product teams to support successful product launches • Support visual merchandising and in-store storytelling to enhance product visibility and customer engagement • Monitor product performance and support improvements and iterations for future collections • Contribute to building a pipeline of innovation for seasonal and core product ranges • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer behavior to identify opportunities
• Research and identify prospective suppliers. • Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions, and purchase agreements. • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns. • Liaise with internal teams and maintain strong supplier relations. • Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs. • Create and generate reports and performance analyses of KPIs, including out-of-stock, days of supply, aging inventories, and other analyses to facilitate cost and service improvements. • Develop short- and long-term supply plans to balance the demand forecast with cost, efficiency and capacity constraints. • Other tasks as per assigned.
