◉ Overview: 

 

As Assistant to the CEO, you will take an active role in driving startup business operations, leading research initiatives, and managing cross-functional projects across the retail and food processing sectors. This position requires agility, strategic thinking, and the ability to execute tasks in alignment with the CEO’s vision while adapting to evolving business needs. Strong Japanese language skills are required to support communication with Japanese stakeholders and partners.

 

◉ Responsibilities:

 

  •  Language:

    • Strong Japanese speaking and writing skills (Business level)

    • Experience studying, or working abroad is preferred

    • Ability to communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders and partners

 

  •   Startup Business Management:

    • Oversee and support the launch and operational management of retail shop startups and food processing projects.

    • Take initiative in addressing operational challenges with solution-oriented approaches.

 

  • Project and Opportunity Development:

    • Take ownership of new tasks and projects as assigned, with a readiness to learn and implement unfamiliar concepts.

    • Research and propose new business opportunities, technologies, and industry trends that align with company goals.

    •  Lead feasibility studies and develop strategic recommendations based on research outcomes.

 

  • Industry Research and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Conduct in-depth research on new industries to evaluate potential market entry or collaboration.

    • Prepare detailed visibility and feasibility studies for CEO review.

    • Engage in professional communication and negotiation with key stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to advance company projects.

 

  • Project Coordination and Logistics:

    • Coordinate farm visits, research trips, and project site inspections, including planning and logistical arrangements.

    • Facilitate communication among stakeholders and teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.

 

  • Operational Issue Resolution:

    •  Proactively identify operational issues and inefficiencies, proposing well-considered solutions for enhancement.

    • Work collaboratively with the team to implement solutions and improve overall operations.


 

  • Team Leadership and Future Growth:

    • Act as a central point for project-related team coordination and progress tracking.

    • Prepare to lead additional assistant staff under your supervision as projects expand.

    • Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new team members when project demands increase.

 

  • Strategic Planning:

    • Engage in discussions with the top manager and other leaders about strategies and operations for new activities.

    • Provide input and support in developing strategic plans aligned with the company’s objectives. 

  • Support Top Manager's Activities:

    • Provide comprehensive support to the top manager in various activities, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and documentation.

    •  Handle tasks efficiently to reduce the workload of the top manager.

◉ Qualifications:

■ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

■ Proven experience in a supporting role, preferably as an executive assistant or similar.

■ Excellent communication skills in both Khmer and English, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.

■ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

■ Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data for decision-making.

■ Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to propose effective solutions.

■ High level of discretion and confidentiality.

■ Have the ability to complete general paperwork.

■ Experience working with foreigners is a plus.
