Sathapana Bank Plc. was established in 2016 as a result of the merger of two financial institutions namely Maruhan Japan Bank Plc., the first Japanese-owned commercial bank in Cambodia established since 2008 and Sathapana Limited, a microfinance institution, established since 1995. Maruhan Japan Bank Plc. was established by Chairman Dr. Han Chang-Woo to contribute to the development and growth of Cambodia. Sathapana Limited was originally established as a non-government organization created to provide micro-financial products and services to the low-income segment customers in Cambodia.

Attend and participate in assigned tasks. Put into practice skills that have been learned. Promote and sale bank’s products. Assist in filling out all the relevant forms and documents. Build good relationships with all prospective clients.
Promote Sathapana Bank’s products and services to clients at the target and remote areas to ensure that both banking services and products are successfully sold to potential clients Meet, discuss and assist potential clients in obtaining loan information, loan application and loan disbursement process with other related information which benefit them to ensure the effective customer service and service level agreement Discuss and give recommendation to client on the different type of loans and credit options as well as the terms and conditions of Sathapana Bank’s services and products Analyze clients’ assets including financial status, credit and property to assure that the evaluation and determination feasibility of granting loans are effectively executed followed the bank policy and other both internal and external regulatory Review and verify loan agreements to ensure that they are well organized, completed and accurate according to the policies and regulatory Build a very good relationship and keep in touch with both the existing and the newest potential clients Compute, review and update credit and loan files to ensure the payment schedule is accurately and effectively executed
Take care schedule of all Chief Officer under commercial banking by supporting, organizing and following up on internal and external to ensure all appointments are organized efficiently and any conflicts are resolved promptly Plan and organize company events, meetings, and conferences to ensure all logistical details are managed effectively Coordinate Commercial Team key presentations by playing an active role in the commercial team strategy development and execution of key presentations for both internal and external stakeholders Provide general administrative support, including handling correspondence, managing logistical details for meetings and events, and organizing office functions Provide support on various projects, including research, data analysis, and report preparation. Attend internal team meetings and accurately record the minutes (Monthly Meeting) Ensure that the minutes are distributed to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner and follow up on any actions from them Assist DCEO for all claims of business trip, business claim, insurance, home allowance, home allocation, VISA extension, flight, request/claim in systems Assist all claims on Business Trip of all Chief Officer under commercial banking Travel arrangement, accommodation, and transportation for executives and other departments’ external engagements as needed Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information and company matters • Be able to travel to provinces/branch visit
Grow loan and deposit (either lending-related or non-lending-related) within customer segment focus and business strategy. Grow CASA and improve CASA ratio for lowering funding cost. Grow revenue – an interest income and a non-interest income (which is included with both loan related fee income and fee-based income). Grow customer base from new to bank (NTB) and strengthen relationships with existing customers (ETB) for maximizing overall relationship value and business referrals. Strengthen business preposition of customer centricity and product mix for pitching NTB and building sticky relationship through product & service capability, and right banking solution. Implement and improve customer account plan, customer pipeline, and client call report as key tools for productivity measurement. Manage and control strategically on customer portfolio & asset quality through the execution of “first line of defense” approach and enhancing good clients onboarding. Conduct credit and operational risk assessment as per outlined in credit poli and guidelines. Follow onboarding procedure as well as KYC process within the segment as per process and guidelines.
Grow portfolio of emerging-affluent and affluent individual clients to build a strong relationship with both existing clients and prospective customers. Identify potential customers and bring in the new deposit base and clients for the segment Procure new business through customer acquisitions and manage relationships with existing customers Provide financial advice, consultation and dispensing customized solutions in alignment with the banking standards and industry regulations Deliver client satisfaction through tailored solutions according to client objectives and service issue resolution Conduct financial portfolio management for clients through quality advice and recommendations with a suite of banking Perform other tasks assigned by line supervisor

Collaborate and work closely with the relationship team for execution of customer account plan for seizing cross-selling opportunities. Build relationship and engage with customers for transactional/operating accounts to grow CASA at low cost of funds. Grow fee base income and promote digital banking within business banking customer through offering product bundling and services – Payroll, S2Biz, Bills, Remittance, Trust, Escrow, etc. Work and engage with Sr.RM/RM/ARM to grow a customer base from new to bank (NTB) and strengthen relationships with existing customers (ETB) for maximizing overall relationship value, cross-selling, and business referrals.
Grow trade loans (including both funded & unfunded limit) via trade product capabilities. Grow trade revenue including interest income (through funded limit) and fee income (through unfunded limit/contingent limit). Work with relationship team to grow a customer base from new to bank (NTB) and strengthen relationships with existing customers (ETB) to maximize overall relationship value and business referrals. Engage respective business segments for providing the right facilities structure and payment/collection solution to capture upstream and downstream business opportunities. Initiate, implement, and manage SCF program as trade solution proposition to fit client’s business operation model (either upstream or downstream). Strengthen customer centricity and product matrix for pitching clients and build client’s sticky relationship via products & services capabilities, and right banking solutions. Execute Customer Account Plan (co-responsible as product partner), Customer Pipelines, and Call Report.
