2. Job Function

(i) Core Tasks

•  Lead and supervise the interior design team
•  Develop innovative kitchen concepts aligned with market trends
•  Ensure design standards comply with brand positioning and company guidelines
•  Oversee space planning, cabinetry layout, and appliance integration
•  Meet clients to understand design requirements, budget, and expectations
•  Present design proposals, mood boards, and 3D renderings
•  Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
•  Approve technical drawings, specifications, and material selections
• Ensure accuracy of cabinet measurements and appliance fitting
• Review shop drawings before production
• Monitor quality control during installation
• Support sales team in closing high-value projects
• Develop showroom display concepts
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors
• Other tasks assigned by management

(ii) Daily Tasks

•  Supervise and guide designers on ongoing projects
• Review and approve layout plans, 2D/3D drawings
•  Respond to client inquiries and design revisions
•  Coordinate with production team on technical clarifications
•  Monitor project timelines and installation schedules 
• Conduct showroom walk-through to ensure display standards
•  Provide on-site support when necessary

(iv) Weekly Tasks

•  Conduct design team meeting and performance review
•  Follow up on all active projects and progress updates
•  Review sales pipeline with sales team
•  Visit project sites for inspection and quality control
•  Evaluate material samples and supplier proposals
•  Prepare weekly design performance report to management
•  Update design library (materials, finishes, appliances catalog)

(v) Yearly Tasks

•  Develop annual design strategy and trend forecast
•  Prepare department budget and manpower planning
•  Conduct annual performance and renegotiate contracts if needed
•  Organize participation in design exhibitions or industry events
•  Review and improve design SOP and workflow process
•  Plan long-term showroom renovation or expansion

3. Documentation

•  Responsible to ensure all Private and Confidential, Controlled Documents are properly indicated and managed.
•  Responsible in company activities concerning the protection of the environment.

4. Corporate Social Responsibility

•  Participates in company activities concerning the protection of the environment.
•  Supports the environmental management system of the company.
•  Promotes upholds and applies environmentally friendly practices such as reducing, reusing, and recycling.

5. Financial and Administration

•  Complies with the company’s purchasing and store requisitioning procedures, in respect of internal and external supplies.
•  Ensure energy and cost-saving measures are implemented and evaluated continuously.
•  Ensures that rosters & overtime are managed appropriately according to operational needs.

6. Human Capital Development

•  Participates in training related to the job.
• Assists with company orientation, training, and other special courses when required.
•  Leads by example, inspires and motivates those around your department through enthusiasm, and inspires and guides others to make their decisions based on the organization’s values and overall direction, keeping the company’s goals in mind.

7. Policies and Procedures

• Maintains a high standard of appearance and grooming.
•  Apply and adhere to rules and regulations as per the employee handbook, departmental and company policies and procedures, including those for emergencies.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the overall organization’s mission, vision, and values.
•  Handles any employee complaint professionally per company’s policy & procedures.
• Practices proper telephone etiquette with colleagues and company guests.
•  Ensures all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of Cambodian Law.

8. Health and Safety

•  Always maintains the highest levels of personal hygiene.
• To ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all work areas.
•  To be fully aware of all health and safety, fire, and emergency procedures.
•  Responsible to report any potentially hazardous situations within the workplace.
