Position          : Legal Officer
Department    : Legal / Compliance
Location          : Orienda International Hospital
Reports to       : Group Chief Executive Officer

Job Summary

The Legal Officer is responsible for providing legal support to the hospital by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, reviewing contracts, managing legal documentation, and advising management on legal matters related to healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to management on hospital operations and legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Ensure the hospital complies with Cambodian laws, healthcare regulations, and internal policies.
• Handle legal documentation and maintain proper legal records.
• Assist in managing legal risks, disputes, and claims.
• Support compliance activities and ensure regulatory requirements are followed.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external legal counsel when required.
• Assist in developing and reviewing internal policies and procedures.
• Provide legal guidance on employment matters, contracts, and corporate governance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
• Valid legal qualification or license to practice law is preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in legal practice, preferably in corporate, healthcare, or compliance fields.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Khmer.
