  • Monitor security systems and logs (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, etc.) to identify security events and anomalies.
  • Analyze security alerts and investigate potential security incidents.
  • Conduct incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and assessments to identify security weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to implement security patches and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and security procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and security technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of security monitoring and detection capabilities.
  • Participate in security audits and compliance assessments.
  • Provide support to other security team members as needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management.
  • Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+) are a plus
  • Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Azure Sentinel) is highly desired.
  • 1 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a security operations centre (SOC) or similar environment.
