Job Description: Business Finance Supervisor

Position Summary

The Business Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operational finance activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and supporting the business finance team in achieving financial performance targets. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial controls, safeguarding company assets, and providing insights to management for effective decision-making.

Main Responsibilities

Operational Finance Activities

• Review and monitor daily operational activities including Accounts Receivable (AR), collections, and inventory transactions.
• Provide timely guidance, solutions, and support to the Business Finance team to resolve operational issues.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Highlight key issues and financial insights to the Supervisor and Management.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

Compliance & Internal Control

• Ensure adherence to established financial performance targets and internal control standards.
• Support and oversee periodic verification of inventory and other assets.
• Oversee and control fixed assets of the division/department, ensuring proper recordkeeping and safeguarding.

Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between operations and finance.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Work Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in accounting software systems is an advantage.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and responsibility.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
