Audit Planning and Management

1. Prepare and implement the Annual Audit Plan based on risk assessment of the institution’s activities.
2. Set priorities for audit engagements based on risk level and operational significance.
3. Review and ensure all audit activities comply with International Internal Audit Standards and professional code of ethics.

Team Leadership and Development

1. Lead, supervise, and manage the internal audit team to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
2. Assign tasks and audit projects to team members based on their skills and experience.
3. Provide training and professional development to improve team competency and knowledge.
4. Evaluate staff performance and provide regular feedback.

Audit Execution

1. Lead or conduct audit engagements to assess the effectiveness of:
   • Internal control systems
   • Risk management processes
   • Compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
2. Review the accuracy and completeness of financial and operational reports.
3. Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
4. Investigate suspected fraud, losses, or misconduct and report findings to senior management and relevant committees.

Reporting and Follow-Up

1. Prepare high-quality audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
2. Present audit reports to the Audit Committee and/or Board of Directors regularly.
3. Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations to ensure weaknesses are corrected effectively and on time.
4. Prepare annual reports on internal audit activities and departmental performance.

Coordination and Collaboration

1. Coordinate with External Auditors to ensure proper audit coverage and avoid duplication of work.
2. Collaborate with the Risk Management Committee and Compliance Department to ensure effective risk management.
3. Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management and department heads.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
2. At least 4 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
3. Experience in banking, microfinance, or related financial sector.
4. Experience in preparing audit reports in Khmer and English and presenting to the Audit Committee.
5. Strong management, leadership, planning, communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to develop strategies, provide recommendations, and resolve issues effectively.
7. Ability to promote a positive working culture and teamwork.
8. Good command of English with strong writing and communication skills.
9. Good moral character, honesty, integrity, high responsibility, and strong work commitment.
