Job overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in a dynamic banking environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, security, and optimization of our database servers, including core banking, card system, and mobile banking servers. This role requires strong technical expertise, particularly in managing high-availability and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.

Responsibility:

• Maintenance of database servers including core banking servers, card system servers, mobile banking servers, and related servers.
• Upgrade and install new versions of database software
• Controlling access permissions and privileges of databases.
• Maintaining secure storage of databases backup.
• Arranging stand-by database, real application cluster and disaster recovery of databases.
• Work with the vendor or oracle support to troubleshooting any database problems.
• Perform Database backup and restoring.
• Perform Database switch over task.
• Perform the automated task to maintain the Database archived log
• Assisting system developer to efficiently utilize the database.
• Prepare for documenting the configuration of database and troubleshooting scenario.
• Configures and patches Database.
• Implements High Availability and DR of the Databases Server
• Builds and manages Physical/Logical Standby Databases
• Participates in Database design reviews as required to ensure database design meets the best practice.
• Performs database monitoring and performance tuning tasks.
• Identify and provide solutions to performance issues in multiple database environments.
• Other Tasks assign by management.

• Bachelor’s in computer science or relevant field
• At least 3 years’ experience in DBA or in Banking sector is preferable
• Experience with Database System such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL and so on
• Experience with Linux System Administration.
• Willing to learn new technology and self-learn
• Able to solve problem independently
