Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and review the daily activities of Retail Mart Team including stock, AR and AP
• Review accounting transactions and journal entries regarding sale, collection, bank deposit and Cost of Goods Sold Transactions and related reconciliation work
• Monitor revenue recognition, sales adjustments, rebates, discounts, and promotional transactions.
• Oversee supplier balances, franchise-related charges, royalty fees, marketing fees, and revenue-sharing calculations and other billing as per the contract
• Review supplier invoices, inventory receipts, transfers, returns, and stock adjustments for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor inventory movements, stock variances, damaged, expired, and obsolete items, and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Review inventory valuation and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) calculations and ensure timely reconciliation within the accounting records.
• Coordinate with store operations and the franchisor on financial matters.
• Prepare AP/AP aging reports, inventory reports, and supporting schedules for month-end and year-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, franchise agreements, and Cambodian tax regulations.
• Supervise the Month End and Year End Closing based on management timeline
• Support management in developing the accounting procedure and accounting-operation workflow.
• Provide Guidance or Coaching to Staff under supervision
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and franchise requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and inventory accounting.
• Good Knowledge in Cambodian Tax is preferrable
• Able to Communicate Cross Department and Solution Based
• Has Attention to Details and Committed with the deadline
• Has experience in managing the retail business is a plus.
• Has Good Knowledge of Excel Skill and Reporting and Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Excel Skill and Reporting.
