Summary of Position
The Procurement Officer supports purchasing operations by sourcing suppliers, executing purchase orders, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role works closely with internal teams and suppliers to maintain cost efficiency, product quality, and smooth supply chain operations while supporting business and customer needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Purchasing Manager in supplier sourcing, evaluation, development, and maintenance; establish and manage the approved supplier list
  • Execute purchasing plans, including price inquiries, price comparison, negotiation, purchase order placement, and order tracking.
  • Follow up on purchase orders by coordinating with logistics, warehouse, and quality inspection teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Conduct market research by collecting industry information, supplier updates, and price trends to support purchasing decisions.
  • Source and purchase products for large or special customer orders as required.
