• Manage all aspects of monthly, annual, and transactional tax compliance.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of tax legislation, including investment laws, double tax treaties, and transfer pricing regulations.
• Handle tax disputes and protests, including drafting protest letters in Khmer.
• Proactively liaise with tax authorities in a timely and professional manner.
• Take direction from management and oversee junior team members on various projects, ensuring successful completion of assignments both independently and collaboratively.
• Prepare proposals and quotations, accurately track time records, review and revise invoices, and assist in the collection of outstanding receivables.
• Prepare and maintain monthly sales and purchasing journals.
• Complete and submit tax forms accurately to relevant authorities.
• Input and manage financial data within the accounting system, ensuring integrity and accuracy.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial statements.
• Ensure all tax reports are completed and submitted on time.
• Identify and correct any errors in tax filings caused by process issues.
• Provide strategic tax advice to management, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
• Manage company inventory and stock-related tax matters.
• Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• A bachelor’s degree in law, accounting, economics, or a related field, with a focus on tax law, from a reputable university.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax matters at a respected law or accounting firm in Cambodia.
• Proven experience in liaising with tax authorities and handling tax-related communications.
• Proficiency in both English and Khmer (Chinese language skills are a plus).
• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and quick learning ability.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one of the Big Four accounting firms.
