What we do

The Bank was created following Sub-decree No. 1213 dated 10 October 1979 under the former regime of the State of Cambodia. In 2000, the Bank was separated from the direct management of the National Bank of Cambodia (“the Central Bank”) in order to transform its permanent identity into a state-owned commercial bank in Cambodia with the features of a Public Economic Enterprise and with the intention of conducting the autonomous business operation.

In January 2001, the Bank obtained its banking license from the Central Bank to operate as a commercial bank in the Kingdom of Cambodia for a period of three years starting from 4 January 2001. This was the first license granted to enable the Bank to operate as a separate legal entity independent from the Central Bank’s direct management. On 8 January 2004, the Bank obtained its 2nd banking license from the Central Bank for a period of three years starting from that date. The Bank now holds a commercial banking license, which was renewed for an indefinite period, on 21 December 2006.

FTB is Cambodia’s first and foremost bank. As Cambodia’s private commercial bank, FTB has been providing customers with safe and reliable banking services for almost 40 years.

• Monitor and verify FTB’s digital banking operations by identifying inefficiencies, analyzing risks, implementing timely improvements, and ensuring smooth and efficient performance; • Check and resolve technical issues by providing prompt, accurate, and appropriate solutions to customers and responsible staff related to digital banking services; • Verify and prioritize critical issues, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up on unresolved or ongoing problems; • Oversee, research, initiate, and manage digital service development projects, including implementation, progress reporting, testing, and risk analysis before official deployment; • Prepare and compile supporting documentation for each project, including training materials and instructions for teams prior to launching new products or systems; • Coordinate specific projects or programs with the Product and Program Management Department to meet customer needs within the bank’s regulatory framework while minimizing risk; • Check and regularly update FTB Bank’s website in collaboration with all departments, ensuring timely removal of outdated content and providing accurate, current, and easily accessible information to attract and engage users; • Manage the bank’s online Customer Verification and Authentication System, approve customer access, and provide relevant data to departments to enhance workflow efficiency; • Perform additional tasks/projects assigned by manager.
This role is to ensure the completeness and accuracy of transactions between PL and Nostro accounts, and to ensure that transactions and fees are settled in timely basis. Main Duties • Perform the reconciliation of Nostro accounts to ensure that the daily operation is correct and accurate; • Ensure that transactions and fees are settled in timely basis; • Coordinate the issues with internal team; • Ensure all reconciliation documents are filled in proper documentation; • Prepare International Transaction Reporting System (ITRS) and other required report and submit to line manager; • Contribute to build good working environment at workplace, having good relationship with one another; • Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures with accurate record; • Perform Other tasks assign by Head/Deputy Head, International Department
