Job Summary: Sales department The Depo Salesman is responsible for visiting customer shops (depos) daily, introducing products, taking orders, and handling both cash and 30-day credit sales. You will play a key role in maintaining long-term business relationships and expanding the company’s customer base. Key Responsibilities: • Visit local depo shops daily to promote and sell company products • Introduce new products and explain features, benefits, and promotions • Take customer orders and coordinate delivery with the warehouse team • Handle payment collection (cash or 30-day credit terms) • Build strong relationships with shop owners and staff • Follow up with credit customers to ensure timely payments • Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the manager • Gather market intelligence and monitor competitor activities • Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
Team Supervision & Support - Oversee daily activities of the sales team (indoor and outdoor). - Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure target achievement. - Support staff in closing difficult deals and resolving customer objections. Audit & Credit Control - Verify customer credit limits and payment history before deal approval. - Audit sales reports, invoices, and team documentation for accuracy. - Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures. Customer Interaction - Greet and assess key customers, especially for high-value or sensitive cases. - Handle escalated complaints and ensure smooth onboarding. - Occasionally join outdoor sales visits to support team or close deals directly. Operational Management - Design and improve sales workflows, reporting formats, and follow-up systems. - Coordinate with finance, logistics, and admin teams to ensure smooth operations. - Track KPIs, prepare weekly/monthly performance reports. Training & Coaching - Conduct role-play sessions and training for new and existing staff. - Guide team on credit handling, customer communication, and deal closure techniques.

- Build and nurture strong relationships with on-trade accounts, including bars, clubs, restaurants, lounges, and hotels, focusing on whiskey products. - Implement strategic sales initiatives to achieve both monthly and annual sales targets while driving brand loyalty. - Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements, including pricing and promotional activities within the whiskey category. - Collaborate closely with trade marketing teams to execute compelling brand activations and promotions at partner venues. - Conduct market intelligence by monitoring competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for growth. - Conduct regular outlet visits, ensuring compliance and supporting brand visibility and growth in assigned locations. - Provide management with accurate sales forecasts, reports, and in-depth performance analysis. - Play a crucial role in supporting new product launches and ensuring robust distribution and activation of whiskey products.
Campaign and Activation Support: Assist in rolling out marketing initiatives and promotions across digital, trade, and on-ground channels. Project Coordination: Help manage marketing tasks and timelines, ensuring alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Creative teams. On-Ground Event Execution: Act as the lead during outlet activations, roadshows, and similar events, ensuring setup, branding, and execution run according to plan. Reporting and Feedback: Ensure activation KPIs are met. Gather updates, photos, and results from campaigns and activations. Provide timely feedback to improve future planning.
