Design, build, and implement dataset, reports and visualization dashboards in PowerBI and other visualization tools Design and develop data mapping, data modelling, data aggregation to provided simplified and comprehensive data for business analytics and intelligence Create, review, and analyze complex, integrated data models and information from various sources (ERP, CRM, EDW, and unstructured data, etc.) to provide insight to key business decision makers Perform SQL query tuning and performance optimization on complex inefficient queries Migrate data from one system to another using ETL techniques and best practices Verify correctness and completeness of data model, data relationships, and mappings to meet all the intended business needs by validating existing data sources, reports and ensuring data integrity Ensure continuous improvement and enhancement to company data management framework to comply with group data policies
Collaborate with stakeholders (Agile, Product, Data Science, Architecture, Infrastructure) to align data engineering initiatives with business objectives. Design and implement data replication pipelines from various sources (DB2, MongoDB, Kafka) into the Enterprise Data Warehouse or Data Lake. Support the implementation of real-time Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines for real-time data needs. Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data models to address diverse business requirements across multiple markets. Implement data monitoring and validation processes (duplicate checks, record tally checks, data integrity checks). Maintain and optimize the enterprise data warehouse for performance and reliability. Contribute to data documentation (data dictionaries, definitions) and ensure adherence to data management frameworks and compliance with group data policies. Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements from diverse stakeholders, aligning with strategic goals. Leverage deep system knowledge to architect optimal digital solutions, collaborating with architects and engineers. Develop, maintain, and review the Risk Appetite Framework, aligning it with Prudential Group and regulatory requirements. Implement KRIs to monitor adherence. Implement and enforce financial risk policies across the CLM Hub, ensuring compliance with Prudential Group standards and local regulations Manage and mitigate financial risks including liquidity, solvency, capital, and risk transfer arrangements. Collaborate with business units to identify, assess, and address potential financial risks. Monitor and assess product risks, ensuring the integrity and profitability of the product suite. Prepare comprehensive meeting packs for Risk Committee meetings with relevant financial risk information. Support project managers in prioritization, resource allocation, and the successful delivery of projects. Assist in functional testing before UAT, support UAT facilitation, and ensure solutions are scalable and replicable across the CLM Hub. Contribute to the design and implementation of change management processes in compliance with SDLC standards. Effectively communicate project updates, progress, and issues to stakeholders. Provide L2 application support as required and assist in resolving application-related issues. Guide and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and professional growth. Assist in coordinating local business unit needs with Group Technology teams for infrastructure and operational projects. Oversee IT operations (monitoring, backup, patching, disaster recovery, software/hardware support) to ensure baseline standards, cost optimization, and policy compliance. Manage IT vendor services (end-user support, infrastructure, change management) to ensure quality and service level agreements. Establish network specifications, design router administration, and implement network and server solutions, including equipment selection, installation, and configuration. Maintain network and server performance through monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting, and secure networks through access control and evaluation. Provide daily user support for computer operations, networking, and training. Assist in risk and control assessments, data collection for reporting, audit support, and development/maintenance of IT SOPs. Performing other tasks assigned by Management.
Partner with technical business analysts and group technology to define requirements, conduct impact analyses, and implement integrated solutions. Develop and implement software solutions, including full-stack applications, for local and enterprise-level projects. Implement integrations between local, group, and partner systems, ensuring seamless data flow. Ensure all development adheres to group policies, digital standards, and industry best practices. Implement automated unit testing and manage quality control for all software development, including vendor and outsourced work. Provide Level 3 application support for complex technical issues. Bancassurance Partnerships: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the bancassurance landscape, proactively identifying and engaging potential bank partners. Lead deal structuring with strong financial justification to secure internal approvals and partner agreements. Facilitate the smooth transition of new bank partnerships to the distribution team for execution, providing initial oversight to ensure alignment with the plan. New Channel Establishment: Conduct feasibility studies for new distribution channels across three markets, aligning with CLM EXCO directives. Pilot selected channel options, transferring ownership to management upon successful establishment and scalability. Note: Scaling of existing agency channels is considered business-as-usual and managed by the distribution team. Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate partnerships that drive new business opportunities through value-added services (VAS) and referral programs. Onboard partners with robust financial agreements, securing exclusivity and leveraging digital solutions. Collaborate with the Health Team on the identification and onboarding of health-specific partners. Performance Management: Coordinate monthly KPI tracking and performance management. Provide EXCO members with insightful KPI performance updates. Prepare quarterly business performance dialogue presentations, including data analysis and visual representations. Develop strategy communication presentations for internal and external stakeholders as required. Forecast strategic KPI performance through collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance understanding of strategic performance drivers. Maintain effective communication with group office stakeholders.
1. Bancassurance Partnership Support management in gaining a deep understanding of the bancassurance market, proactively identifying and engaging potential bank partners. Be a crucial member in structuring financially sound and mutually beneficial deals with identified bank partners, ensuring internal approval and agreement. Support the smooth handover of new bank partnerships to the distribution team for effective execution, providing initial guidance to ensure alignment and operational plans. 2. New Channel Establishment Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for innovative new distribution channels across our key markets, aligning findings with CLM EXCO directives. Lead the experimentation phase for selected new channel options, and effectively transfer ownership for ongoing management once the channel is established and ready for scaling. Effectively communicate strategies, build consensus across teams, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Apply strong analytical skills to financial data, market research, and feasibility studies to inform strategic decisions.
