The Content Creator (Economy & Finance) owns the translation of complex economic trends, market data, and financial policies into clear, compelling, and highly accessible digital narratives. Rather than just reporting numbers or rephrasing technical updates, this role focuses on driving audience retention and brand authority. By developing engaging short-form videos, structured infographics, and insightful written commentary, the role makes macroeconomic insights relevant and actionable for both businesses and the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analytical Storytelling
• Simplifying Complexity: Take ownership of tracking macroeconomic indicators (such as inflation, market shifts, labor trends, and fiscal policies) and translating them into clear, visually engaging stories that resonate with the target audience.
• Accuracy & Fact-Checking: Maintain absolute journalistic and analytical integrity, ensuring all data visualizations, statistics, and assertions are thoroughly researched, cited, and accurate.
• Contextual Analysis: Focus on the "why" behind the numbers, providing the audience with deep context regarding how larger economic shifts impact local businesses, markets, and everyday life.
2. Strategy & Planning
- Content Calendar: Maintain and execute a consistent posting schedule via an organized content calendar.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, viral sounds, and platform algorithm changes to keep the brand relevant.
- Brainstorming: Collaborate with the marketing and management teams to develop creative campaigns and "out-of-the-box" content ideas.
3. Engagement & Analytics
- Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments and messages to foster a loyal online community.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze weekly/monthly engagement metrics (reach, shares, conversion) to refine content strategy.
- SEO Best Practices: Apply basic SEO principles to video titles, descriptions, and blog posts to increase discoverability.
- Storytelling: Ability to hook an audience within the first 3 seconds of a video.
- Digital Fluency: Deep understanding of Facebook Page Management, Instagram Reels, and TikTok trends.
– AI Integration: Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or Midjourney) to streamline scripting and ideation is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
