A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

Material Integrity Management: Oversee the inspection of all incoming raw materials, specifically verifying wood moisture content (MC%), timber grading, and fabric durability to prevent post-production warping or failure.
In-Process Quality Audits: Conduct systematic inspections at critical production stages—including joinery, assembly, and sanding—to ensure dimensional accuracy stays within the strict +/- 1mm tolerance.
Finish & Aesthetic Validation: Perform rigorous surface evaluations for lacquer, stain, or paint consistency, utilizing gloss meters and light boxes to ensure the final product meets "Golden Sample" aesthetic standards.
Functional & Structural Testing: Lead the mechanical testing of finished goods, including load-bearing tests, cycle testing for moving hardware (hinges/slides), and stability checks to ensure safety and longevity.
Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action: Investigate production defects to identify root causes, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and implementing corrective actions to reduce factory waste and rework rates.

Job Requirements

Educational background must include a Bachelor’s Degree in Wood Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, combined with professional experience in a furniture manufacturing or high-end woodworking environment.
Candidates must demonstrate high proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical shop drawings, assembly diagrams, and finishing specifications to ensure 100% alignment with design intent.
Technical mastery of precision measurement and testing instruments is required, specifically including wood moisture meters, digital calipers, and gloss meters for consistent aesthetic and dimensional validation.
