Job Purpose:

The Assistant Manager, Learning & Development plays a key role in supporting the design and delivery of impactful learning solutions that strengthen workforce capabilities across stores and support functions, in alignment with DFI Lucky’s business priorities and operational excellence.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

Learning Strategy Execution

  • Support the implementation of L&D strategy and annual training plan aligned with business priorities
  • Translate business needs into practical learning solutions for retail operations

Training Need Analysis

  • Partner with business leaders, store managers, and P&C BPs to identify capability gaps
  • Conduct training needs analysis to support workforce development and performance improvement

Program Design & Development

  • Design and develop engaging learning programs (Instructor-Led Training, On-the-Job Training, and digital learning)
  • Ensure training content aligns with DFI standards, SOPs, and customer experience expectations
  • Adapt global/regional learning materials to the Cambodia context
  • Support the design and coordination of leadership development programs for supervisors and managers

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Facilitate training sessions for store teams, supervisors, and support functions
  • Support and coach line managers to deliver effective on-the-job training (OJT)
  • Assist in delivering leadership and people management development programs

Learning Technology & Digitalization

  • Support the implementation and utilization of Learning Management System
  • Develop and upload e-learning content, assessments, and learning journeys
  • Track learner engagement and completion

Performance & Impact Measurement

  • Monitor training effectiveness using KPIs (attendance, completion, feedback, performance improvement)
  • Conduct post-training evaluations and recommend improvements
  • Support analysis of training impact on business performance (e.g., sales, service, productivity)

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Operations, People & Culture, and functional teams to ensure training relevance and effectiveness
  • Provide L&D support for new initiatives, store openings, and transformation projects

Budget & Reporting

  • Support tracking and utilization of L&D budget
  • Prepare training reports, dashboards, and insights for management review

Yêu cầu công việc

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development or Training, preferably in retail or FMCG
  • Experience facilitating training sessions and supporting learning program execution
  • Experience supporting or coordinating leadership development programs (e.g., supervisor/manager capability building) is an advantage
  • Exposure to LMS and digital learning platforms
