  • Deliver Physics lessons for IGCSE, AS, and A Level in accordance with the CAIE curriculum
  • Plan and deliver engaging theory and practical lessons that promote scientific inquiry, active learning, and conceptual understanding
  • Develop students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving, experimental, and examination skills
  • Prepare students for Cambridge assessments through effective use of past papers, mark schemes, assessment objectives, and targeted revision strategies
  • Plan, supervise, and assess laboratory experiments while ensuring safe and responsible use of equipment
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom and laboratory environment
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback
  • Use assessment data to identify learning gaps and provide appropriate support or intervention
  • Apply differentiated instruction, Assessment for Learning, and ICT integration to support diverse learners
  • Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and teaching resources aligned with Cambridge curriculum expectations
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment results, feedback, and student progress
  • Communicate professionally with parents, students, and colleagues regarding student learning, progress, and wellbeing
  • Contribute to Science Department planning, curriculum review, school events, and professional development activities

Yêu cầu công việc

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field is required

  • Master’s degree, PGCE, B.Ed., QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred

  • 3-4 years of experience teaching IGCSE and/or AS & A Level Physics preferred
  • Cambridge curriculum experience is an advantage
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of upper secondary Physics concepts
  • Ability to teach both theoretical and practical Physics effectively
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with differentiated instruction, Assessment for Learning, and ICT integration
  • Commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, inclusion, professional ethics, and academic excellence
