BUN & ASSOCIATES, a top tier award-winning law firm legally registered with the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia, is recruiting qualified and motivated candidates to fulfill the position of Senior Associate for Real Estate and Construction Practice Group. ▪ Draft and prepare legal advice and opinion to clients, draft legal briefs/memoranda, contracts/agreements on the matters related to real estate and construction including concessions, mining, environment, or agriculture. ▪ Conduct due diligence exercises, including drafting/finalizing due diligence reports, on companies/owner, business, assets or projects related to concessions, mining, environment, or agriculture. ▪ Conduct/supervise research of laws and regulations and related practices on concession, mining, environment, and agriculture. ▪ Update templates and working tools to ensure that they can be used appropriately and effectively. ▪ Supervise case management and closings. ▪Prepare fee proposals, review time spent, review and revise invoice in accordance with the firm’s policies, and assist in the collection of outstanding invoices. ▪ Manage team and provide training, coaching, mentoring to advisors and legal assistants. ▪ Business development: maintain a professional relationship with other professional advisors/ firms, professional/business clubs, etc. ▪ Participate in the activities of legal professional bodies and maintain good relations with regulators and regulatory bodies. ▪ Participate in knowledge management, professional development, and firm administrative activities ▪ Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor/lawyers from time to time.

Trainees work full-time for six (6) months with the firm. Trainees can select one six-month seat with the same Practice Group or divide their time between two (2) Practice Groups or seats. The choice is the Trainees, and is subject to business demand. The trainee will work with their Supervisor, gaining direct, practical experience in managing files, dealing with clients, financial matters, drafting, business development, and the other skills needed to become a successful lawyer. Traineeship has two primary goals: (1) law graduates (trainees) are introduced to day-to-day legal work. They will be a full-fee-earning member of their teams, working directly with partners and associates. (2) creates an objective, structured framework to identify and recruit high-performing Junior Associates. ▪ Assist associates in researching local and foreign laws and regulations ▪ Assist Associates in drafting, reviewing, and translating any assigned legal documents. ▪ Assist the Associate in preparing legal documents and formalities ▪ Keep informed and up-to-date of laws, regulations, economic and legal news ▪ Prepare and fill in documents for clients ▪ Keep track of changes in regulatory provide a timely update on these changes ▪ Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor from time to time ▪ Trainees will be required to attend all internal training programmes
