Branch manager is typically responsible for boosting funding & non funding products, deposit, and customers relation. He/she needs to work closely with Relationship Manager at Head Office to seek more new customers as well as retain existing in-order-to meet target. Deposit pipeline Onboard new customers to increase deposit balance as per target. Control daily Deposit Procedure and limit authority of RB Front system (SSC Authorize, Authorize for slip: deposit, withdrawal, Open and Close A/C). Check and control sanction list for screening our customer for opening new A/C. Authorize daily RBF work (Open, sent G/L and Close system). Control and download all report from ERM system or BBI System. Making sure of high-quality service for VIP customers. Making sure the outcome matches the goal. 2.Business Build and maintain good relationship with both new and existing customers. Seeking out new prospects and working with corporate banking team to expanding our marketing efforts for both funding and non-funding products. Working closely with RMs and Credit Analysts on the processing of credit proposal as well as annual review. Control customer’s collateral valuation and update files insurance policy for the collaterals. Making sure of accuracy by checking credit files of customers. Follow up post condition(s) on customers. Monitoring existing credit customers and promptly informing RMs of any issues. Control the completeness and safety of credit legal documents in strong room. Check and control loan repayment, O/D movement, TR or LG maturity, and perform monthly credit report. Making sure the outcome matches the goal. Other tasks are assigned by line manager.
Responsible for managing and growing the corporate banking function through setting and achieving loan and cross-sell targets in line with corporate planning and budgeting guidelines for the bank; this includes allocating existing pipeline and target new customers and KPIs including new loan drawdown and cross sell targests to each RM. Acquire, develop, and manage the relationship with corporate banking and select SME customers, through sound planning, identification of needs and guidance provided to Relationship Managers in their marketing efforts and targeted sales whilst maintaining high credit quality. Provide support to the Relationship Managers by implementing agreed actions to retain and grow the business customer base and bank’s revenues, increase profitability and efficiently assess and managing credit risk and costs. Lead all the key transactions from origination to execution stage including making presentations to risk and credit teams. Ensure compliance with AML, internal policies including regulatory guidelines, manuals and all other rules and regulations. Proactive in leading RM and stakeholders to address NPL and issues related to clients and regularly report to the GM and upper level. Develop and build up the skill set and capabilities of RM and ARM in line with the market’s changing landscape; this includes establishing a short- and long-term plan as well as training needs. Participate in the interview panel with HR and management for RM, ARM, credit analyst, MT, and Treasury candidates. Develop materials and ensure management trainees obtain good knowledge and skills during their on-the-job training with RM. Support legal advice to respective departments as well as management in order to meet bank obligations. Provide input and review in relation to obsolete forms, applications, and other documents used for all financial operations service requests from all operations services. Ensure timely support to frontliner by fulfilling legal view ad-hoc request, work closely and within reasonable turnaround time. Review and advice loan documentation (including facility agreement, hypothec agreement, and related) meets the bank and local law requirements (including protecting the bank's interest from losses). Provide advisory or drafting of local documentation contents (adhere to Laws in Cambodia) and in align with NBC’s requirement for banking operations purposes. Participate in the bank's projects where legal matters are involved as and when required. Review and ensure that the bank standard legal documentation is legally binding, valid, and enforceable and complies with the standard of SCB and laws and regulations in Cambodia. It also provides legal opinions for non-standard documentation. Study and advise Management and the relevant units on legal issues relating to daily banking activities, operations, and products in compliance with local regulations/laws and Bank’s policy and dealing with customers. Review or draft the legal conformity of the legal documents, economic documents and proxies, the legality of entering credit contract, mortgaged contracts, and other relevant contracts. Provide legal consultancy, plans, process to Management and coordinate with NPL recovery team to handle NPL and collateral including but not limited to negotiate, file claims, auction mortgage assets or restructure indebted business in accordance with laws and internal regulations of the Bank. Represent the Bank in disputes between the Bank and other entities at Court, Enforcement Agency, State Notary Public, Auction Center, and the competent state authorities (case by case). Support the implementation, giving professional guidance on debts handling to the related departments. Handling of corporate secretary works. Other tasks are assigned by line manager.
Identify key duties of this role FX risk management and development of FX risk mitigation strategies. Price and execute live foreign exchange spot, forward, and swap transactions through electronic channels. Strive to deliver efficient FX execution solutions to corporate customer and internal team. Managing foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments. Focus on creating relationships with clients directly and by leveraging a high quality internal and external network. Execute in trading, selling/buying foreign currency (USD, THB, EUR, AUD, GBP, and HKD) to gain profit for the bank. Monitor foreign currency in case customers take to deposit such as THB. Work closely with RM and other product partner to identify the value-added to such targeted customers. Manage money market deal with interbank. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports such accrued interest, profit and loss and other reports as requires. Respond and support client for booking FX. Assets and liabilities management. Other tasks are assigned by General Manager.
