This position’s purpose is to achieve the new product pricing and valuation process objectives in line with Company strategy and Business goals. Pricing & Product Development: • Develop and maintain pricing models for life and health insurance products. • Conduct pricing analyses, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and company financial targets. • Support product sensitivity testing, ensuring robust assumptions and financial sustainability. • Collaborate with distribution, marketing, and operations teams to enhance product competitiveness. • Monitor industry trends and recommend enhancements to pricing methodologies. Profitability & Financial Analysis: • Conduct Value of New Business (VONB) analysis and monitor product profitability. • Perform experience studies and refine pricing assumptions based on claims, persistency, and expense trends. • Support regular pricing reviews and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness. • Provide actuarial input into product performance monitoring and portfolio management. Reinsurance & Risk Management: • Assist in evaluating and structuring reinsurance arrangements. • Support reinsurance negotiations and ensure sustainable risk-sharing structures. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: • Ensure all product pricing adheres to local regulatory requirements and actuarial best practices. • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings. • Support IFRS17 implementation related to pricing assumptions.
