GENERAL OBJECTIVES: The Senior Sales is responsible for leading a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets. They ensure that all sales operations align with the company's business objectives, provide excellent customer service, and maintain strong client relationships. The role requires a blend of sales acumen, team leadership, and technical knowledge in laboratory operations or life sciences. ORGANIZATIONAL COMPETENCE (Authority): As Senior Sales in a laboratory setting plays a crucial role in overseeing the sales activities of laboratory products, services, or equipment. DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR TASKS: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales goals in collaboration with the Sales Manager. Monitor and analyze sales performance data to adjust strategies for continuous improvement. Set daily, weekly, or monthly sales objectives for the team and track progress. Supervise, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives. Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer feedback, and identify areas for development sales representatives Build and maintain relationships with key clients and new prospects. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. Ensure customer satisfaction and gather feedback to improve service delivery. Maintain a deep understanding of the laboratory products and services offered. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product launches. Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring adherence to company policies. Track and report on sales metrics, team performance, and market data. Prepare weekly or monthly sales reports for sales / marketing manager Manage other tasks assigned by line manager
