About Gibble Cambodia

Gibble Cambodia is a technology and IT services company with a local office in Phnom Penh, supporting customers right across the Kingdom of Cambodia. We deliver managed IT support and cyber security services, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint solutions, Xero accounting support, and our own Gibble Student Management System used by education providers. The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Business Manager to join our Phnom Penh team. This is a senior, multi-disciplinary role suited to a confident professional with a strong IT background who can balance operational management with direct customer engagement. You will help run the local business day to day — covering finance, recruitment, business development and IT service delivery — while representing Gibble Cambodia on-site with our established customers across the country.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is equally comfortable reviewing the books in Xero, supporting a customer’s cyber security, onboarding a new team member, or meeting a client to grow the relationship.

This is a local position. We are looking for a Cambodian national who lives in Cambodia, is a native Khmer speaker and communicates impressively in English.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Administration

Maintain accurate financial bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting in Xero, including invoicing, reconciliations and reporting.

Support budgeting, cash-flow monitoring and liaison with external accountants and suppliers.

People & Recruitment

Lead local recruitment activities — drafting roles, screening, interviewing and onboarding new staff.

Provide day-to-day management, coordination and support to the local team.

Business Development & Customer Engagement

Identify and develop new business opportunities and nurture existing customer relationships.

Conduct on-site engagement and account management with established customers across Cambodia.

IT Services & Technical Delivery

Oversee and assist with IT support services, including cyber security, Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and endpoint protection.

Administer and support Microsoft 365, including SharePoint setup and ongoing support.

Provide Xero customer support to clients.

Support, demonstrate and train customers on the Gibble Student Management System.

Job Requirements

IT background: Strong technical IT knowledge across support, security and cloud.

Microsoft 365: Working knowledge of, or certification in, M365 administration.

Cambodian national & resident: A Cambodian citizen residing in Cambodia.

Language: Native Khmer plus confident, professional English (written and spoken) for daily contact with English-speaking suppliers, customers and colleagues.

Management: 5+ years in a management role, with verifiable references.

Communication & time management: Excellent communicator; strong time-management and organisation.

Location & travel: Full-time in our Phnom Penh office; able to travel nationwide.

Background check: Police clearance / criminal record certificate (equivalent to an Australian National Police Check).

Desirable;

Relevant IT, cyber security or Microsoft certifications (e.g. Microsoft 365 / Azure administrator).

Experience with Xero, RMM platforms and endpoint security tools.

Prior experience working in or with Cambodian businesses and the local market.

Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, management or a related field.

Eligibility & Legal Compliance (Cambodia)

Gibble Cambodia hires in full compliance with Cambodian labour law. As this is a local appointment for a Cambodian national, no foreign work permit is required. The successful candidate will need to provide or complete the following:

Cambodian citizenship & residency: A valid Cambodian National ID confirming citizenship and current residency in Cambodia.

Police / criminal record clearance: A police clearance / criminal record certificate from the Cambodian authorities (the equivalent of an Australian National Police Check).

Statutory registration: Registration with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and the standard entitlements provided under Cambodian labour law (arranged by Gibble Cambodia).

References: At least two verifiable professional references from previous management roles.
