Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Oversee and refine the monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, spotlighting trends, variances, and overall business performance.
  • Execute financial modelling, scenario planning, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.

Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with department heads and senior leaders to provide financial insights that support business objectives.
  • Assist in developing presentations for executive management, board meetings, and other stakeholder engagements.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor, offering data-driven recommendations.

Performance Management:

  • Track and assess key financial and operational metrics to gauge company performance.
  • Identify potential areas for cost savings and operational efficiencies, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to assess and drive business performance, supporting continuous improvement.

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting aligned with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the preparation of financial reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and policies.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the FP&A team, fostering a culture focused on continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Oversee team workload, performance evaluations, and career development.

Systems and Process Improvement:

  • Assess and improve financial planning systems and processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Implement best practices in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate financial systems and ensure data integrity.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, with 2-3 years in a managerial role.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management expertise.
  • High integrity, dependability, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across all organizational levels.
  • Adaptability in a high-speed, deadline-driven environment with multitasking capabilities.
