  • Prepare and deliver training and practical demonstrations on massage therapy techniques
  • Develop and update curriculum based on current industry standards
  • Assess trainee progress through examinations and practical demonstrations
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to enhance trainees’ learning experience
  • Maintain records of trainee attendance and academic performance
  • Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment 
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in massage therapy practices and integrate them into teaching materials
  • Mentor students and offer guidance and advice

Job Requirements

  • Relevant professional certification in Massage Therapy or related field
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience as a massage therapist
  • Previous teaching or instructional experience preferred
  • Advanced certifications or specializations in massage therapy modalities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with various educational technologies and teaching tools
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities
  • Proficiency in a range of massage therapy techniques and modalities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and educational software
