The Insurance Sales Staff is responsible for promoting and selling insurance products through bank branches, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role works closely with bank staff to identify potential customers, provide financial protection solutions, and ensure excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Promote and sell life insurance and general insurance products to walk-in customers and bank clients.
  • Proactively identify customer needs through financial assessment and offer suitable insurance solutions.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the company and bank partner.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups on potential leads provided by the bank.

Partnership Management

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with bank branch staff to drive joint sales activity.
  • Provide training or product refreshers to bank employees when required to ensure cooperation and product knowledge.
  • Participate in joint field visits, client meetings, and sales activities with bank partners.

​​​​​​​Customer Service

  • Provide professional consultation and financial advisory to customers.
  • Support customers with application forms, underwriting documentation, and policy issuance.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and guide them through the claims and after-sales process when needed.

​​​​​​​Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, bank procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare daily or weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and activity reports.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential customer information.

INTERNAL INTERFACE:

  • Reports directly to Bancassurance Business Manager or such other person as the Company may direct from time to time.
  • Working closely with other team members and Regional Head Office.
  • Coordination and communication with other departments and regulators.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum High School OR Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, banking, insurance, or financial services is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with strong communication and selling skills are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales drive and customer-focused service attitude.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
  • Basic understanding of banking operations and insurance concepts is a plus.
  • Good presentation skills and confidence in engaging customers.

  • High level of integrity and compliance mindset.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with banking staff and customers.
  • Professional appearance and behavior.
  • Willingness to be based at assigned bank branches and travel when necessary.
