Position: General Manager

Report To: Director of Operations/ Owner

Job Summary

Lead a Restaurant. Build a Business. Develop People.

The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant through strong leadership, operational excellence, financial performance, people development, guest satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Leading the Business

• Drive sales growth and profitability.
• Take ownership of food cost, beverage cost, labor cost, and operational performance.
• Analyze business performance and develop action plans to improve results.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve the business.

Leading People

• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain strong employees and managers.
• Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
• Develop future leaders and succession plans.
• Create an environment where employees feel valued, challenged, and supported.

Leading Operations

• Ensure high standards of food quality, beverage quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
• Maintain operational consistency and discipline.
• Ensure systems, standards, and procedures are followed throughout the restaurant.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.

Leading Guest Experience

• Build strong relationships with guests and VIP customers.
• Ensure exceptional hospitality and service.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Drive repeat customer business through memorable experiences.

Leading Growth

• Support marketing initiatives, events, and promotions.
• Increase guest traffic and brand awareness.
• Strengthen the restaurant's reputation within the community.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Minimum 5 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong financial and operational management experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver business results.
• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Hospitality, Business Management, or related education.
• Experience managing high-volume restaurant operations.
• Experience developing managers and future leaders.
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, food safety, and operational standardsThe Ideal Candidate
