1. Sales & Commercial Strategy

  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term commercial and sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth across all sales channels (projects, dealers, retail, contractors, architects, developers, and distributors).
  • Define pricing strategies, margin controls, and promotional plans to maximize profitability.

2. Market & Business Development

  • Identify new market opportunities, projects, and business partnerships within the construction and architecture ecosystem.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as developers, architects, consultants, contractors, and government/private project owners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to maintain competitive advantage.

3. Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales and commercial teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Set clear KPIs, sales targets, and performance management frameworks for the team.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results.

4. Key Account & Project Management

  • Oversee major accounts and strategic projects, ensuring successful bidding, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Support the team in closing high-value deals and managing long-term client relationships.
  • Ensure effective coordination between sales, technical, supply chain, and finance teams for project delivery.

5. Forecasting, Reporting & Budget Control

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and commercial performance reports for management review.
  • Track sales performance, pipeline status, and market share, providing actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, credit control, and risk management guidelines.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and technical teams to ensure integrated commercial execution.
  • Contribute to product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and brand development initiatives.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant professional certification is an advantage. Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in a senior sales or commercial leadership role within the Construction & Architecture sector (e.g., building materials, paint, construction solutions, architectural products). Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Deep understanding of construction project sales cycles and B2B sales models.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting and performance management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a competitive market.
  • Good communication and coordination skills Behavioral Competencies:
  • Thinks long-term while balancing short-term sales targets.
  • Translates business strategy into clear commercial action plans.
