• Port and Terminal Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with port authorities, stevedores, and terminal operators to minimize port stay duration and optimize cargo handling.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor and control operational budgets, focusing on the reduction of port disbursements, fuel consumption, and canal tolls.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all vessels comply with international maritime laws and local environmental regulations.
• Crisis Management: Serve as the lead point of contact for operational emergencies, including technical breakdowns, weather delays, or maritime security issues.
• Logistics and Equipment Control: Manage container inventory and equipment flow to prevent imbalances and ensure empty units are positioned where needed most.

• 5+ years in shipping line or logistics operations.
• 2+ years in supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping operations and port procedures.
