- Responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of the organization, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality standards and timely delivery. This role supervises procurement staff, manages supplier relationships, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily procurement operations and purchasing activities
• Review and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing and terms
• Maintain and update approved supplier list
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing)
• Ensure timely procurement to support operational needs
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs
• Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, and other departments
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
• Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management
• Handle contract management and renewal processes
• Resolve supplier disputes and delivery issues

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role preferred
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
