Position Purpose

To deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the secondary curriculum, ensuring academic excellence and effective student progress. The role focuses on lesson planning, assessment, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment, while collaborating with colleagues and maintaining strong communication with parents to support student success.

Job Goals

• Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the secondary curriculum (Lower Secondary Checkpoint, IGCSE, AS & A Levels or equivalent).
• Plan lessons, assessments, and learning materials in line with school requirements.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, character, and academic excellence.
• Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that promotes holistic development.
• Set and monitor homework in accordance with school policy.
• Participate actively in curriculum development, school activities, and professional development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership.
• Communicate effectively with parents to support student learning.

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area; teaching certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience; international or Cambridge curriculum experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Ability to use technology and innovative teaching methods.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
