Financial Management

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).

• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.

 Financial Reporting

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making by senior management.

• Ensure timely submission of tax returns and statutory financial reports.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Develop, monitor, and manage budgets to ensure effective allocation of resources.

• Conduct financial forecasting to support strategic planning initiatives.

• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures, identifying risks and opportunities.

 Audit and Internal Controls

• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.

• Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.

• Monitor and improve processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Team Leadership

• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting team members.

• Strategic Financial Planning

• Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business goals.

• Support project feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new initiatives.

• Stay informed about industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes affecting the company

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Assign and review tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with deadlines.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred).

• Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and organizational ability.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in the agriculture or seed industry is an advantage.

• Familiarity with import/export regulations and international trade finance.
