Overview:
The role is for an accounting executive with an emphasis in tax compliance work. The applicant will work in close collaboration with Finance and Accounting to support general tax compliance and related tax matters as well as perform various accounting work.

Responsibilities:
• Support all tax compliance and audits, tax accounting, tax reporting and forecasting:
• Prepare and lodge monthly and annual tax returns including but not limited to Income tax, VAT, withholding tax, prepayment of profit tax, sale records, purchase records etc.
• Assist the Accounting Manager(s) in the defense and resolution of tax disputes / audits
• Liaise and furnish tax auditors and tax officials with the requested information on tax queries and tax audits
- Provide tax-related information to the Hongkong Land Group Tax Team
• Keep abreast of latest changes in Cambodian tax law and relevant regulations.
• Ensure completeness and proper documentation of tax filing and supporting documents.
• To support any other ad-hoc accounting projects and assignments as required by the Finance & Accounting Manager.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax or relevant professional qualification
• Minimum of 2 years of Cambodian corporate tax experience, ideally with a Big-4 accounting firm or similar accounting/ advisory/law firms.
• Experience in tax compliance work (preparation and filing of tax returns including both direct and indirect tax).
• Good understanding of Cambodian corporate tax law and regulations
• Possession of the following factors will be an advantage:
- Certification as a Cambodian tax agent
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and/or transfer pricing
- Experience in tax compliance/advisory work while in a commercial company
- Relevant real estate industry experience
• High integrity and reliability

• Detail-oriented and able to handle high transaction volumes
• Positive work attitude and able to work under tight deadlines
• Good computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English
