Job Context:
- Responsible for ensuring full compliance with Cambodian tax laws and regulations.
- Acts as the main point of contact for all tax-related matters, both internally and with external authorities.
- Supports the Finance team in tax planning, reporting, and process improvement.
- Reports to the Accounting Manager and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Main Duties:
- Prepare and file monthly, annual, and other required tax returns (including TOI WHT, VAT, TOS, and other relevant filings) in compliance with Cambodian tax regulations.
- Arrange and process all tax payments accurately and on time.
- Coordinate and liaise with tax auditors and external auditors on all company tax matters.
- Respond to queries and provide documentation to tax authorities and auditors as required.
- Check, collect, and maintain all source documents related to tax purposes, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Research and interpret Cambodian tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Advise management on tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance workflow and efficiency related to tax processes.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on tax compliance, procedures, and updates in tax regulations.
- Monitor changes in Cambodian tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to the Finance team.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile:
- Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional tax or accounting certification is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably similar industry or tax firms.
- Experience with tax filings, audits, and working with tax authorities.
Soft Skills: Critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, effective communication, and time management.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in accounting and tax software, including SAP and others.
- Strong MS Excel skills/ English Proficiency
- Familiarity with Cambodian tax filing systems and procedures.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based with standard business hours.
- May require extended hours during tax season or audit periods.
