As part of the pre-opening team, you will help create a premium wellness destination from the ground up.

Position Summary

The Spa & Lifestyle Manager is responsible for leading the successful pre-opening and operation of the hotel's Spa, Fitness Centre, Yoga Studio and recreational facilities. This role will develop wellness programmes, enhance guest experiences, drive revenue and ensure the highest standards of service, safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all pre-opening activities for the spa, swimming pool and gym, including facility inspections, equipment readiness, operating supplies, product selection and operational testing.
• Coordinate the setup and implementation of the spa booking and management system, including reservations, treatment scheduling, memberships, packages, guest profiles, inventory, point-of-sale and reporting functions.
• Develop treatment menus, wellness programmes, lifestyle activities, membership packages, pricing structures and opening promotions aligned with the hotel’s positioning.
• Establish departmental SOPs, service standards, guest consultation procedures, opening and closing routines, and operational controls across the spa, pool and gym.
• Recruit, train and develop spa therapists, reception associates, fitness team members and pool attendants to ensure full operational readiness before opening.
• Oversee the daily operations of the spa, swimming pool, gym, yoga studio and related wellness facilities, ensuring consistent service and facility standards.
• Deliver personalised guest experiences, professional treatments and effective handling of reservations, feedback and service recovery.
• Drive revenue through treatments, memberships, retail sales, packages, promotions, partnerships and effective utilisation of treatment rooms and lifestyle facilities.
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, payroll, inventory, operating expenses, supplier relationships and productivity in line with approved financial targets.
• Maintain strict standards of hygiene, sanitation, pool and gym safety, treatment quality, guest privacy and compliance with brand standards and local regulations.

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in a luxury hotel or premium wellness environment.
• Previous pre-opening experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and guest service skills.
• Experience managing wellness programmes and recreational facilities.
