Job Description

  • Plan and deliver English lessons aligned to ACT schemes of work and international standards

  • Develop all four skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening, plus grammar and vocabulary

  • Differentiate instruction for varied English levels and learning needs

  • Assess, mark, and record student progress accurately; support placement testing

  • Integrate project-based and real-world learning (presentations, debates, writing for real audiences)

  • Prepare students for English exams, presentations, and competitions

  • Foster positive classroom culture and manage behavior constructively

  • Comply with School Safety, Child Safe Protection & Safeguarding Policies; report concerns per procedure

  • Model school values and Code of Conduct; build student character

  • Communicate regularly with parents on progress and concerns

  • Participate in assessment moderation and curriculum meetings

  • Maintain records; submit monthly reports on time

  • Attend PD and assist in school events per the school calendar

Job Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written English (native or near-native fluency); Khmer an advantage

  • Bachelor's degree in English, TESOL, Linguistics, or Education

  • Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English, or Education

  • Experience teaching English in a school, or formal pedagogy/language-teaching training (e.g. CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or a teaching certificate)

  • Understanding of pedagogy and child development

  • Google Suite and digital teaching tools

  • Clear background/police check and child-safe references
