MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB ROLE

a. Dealer Management & Development

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with assigned regional dealers to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits to monitor operations, provide coaching, and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Support onboarding and setup of new dealers, ensuring readiness in operations, staffing, and brand standards.
  • Assist dealers in developing local business plans, sales strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to dealer sales teams on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Ensure dealers comply with company policies, SOPs, and commercial guidelines.

b. Sales Target Achievement

  • Drive dealer sales performance to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (sales volume, stock turnover, conversion rates) and take corrective actions.
  • Support dealers in demand planning and inventory management to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Identify sales opportunities in regional markets and implement action plans to maximize growth.
  • Collaborate with dealers to improve retail execution and increase customer conversion rates.
  • Track dealer performance regularly and provide clear, data-driven feedback to improve results.

c. Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Support implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities at dealer level.
  • Assist dealers in organizing local events, test rides, and brand activations to drive customer traffic.
  • Ensure consistent application of Vespa brand guidelines in all dealer marketing materials and activities.
  • Encourage dealers to leverage digital platforms and social media for lead generation.
  • Provide insights and feedback on campaign effectiveness and customer response.
  • Strengthen Vespa brand visibility and positioning in provincial markets.

d. Reporting & Market Analysis

  • Collect and analyze dealer sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on dealer performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.
  • Maintain accurate records of dealer visits, action plans, and follow-up activities.
  • Identify risks, challenges, and growth opportunities within assigned regions.
  • Provide recommendations to management for improving dealer performance and market strategy.
  • Utilize CRM and reporting tools to track performance and support decision-making.

Job Requirements

a. Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Additional training in sales, dealer operations, or automotive business is an advantage.

b. Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, dealer coordination, or field operations, preferably in automotive or 2-wheeler industry.
  • Experience working with dealer networks or managing provincial markets is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to support sales growth and manage multiple stakeholders.
